Several years ago when I was at Philmont Scout Ranch I got a little booklet of Epigrams that were either written or collected by Waite Phillips, the man who donated the land for Philmont.
This week I feature quotes from that book.
I don’t actually like this quote much because sometimes a barefoot person is not expressing undue self-pity when they observe that they are uncomfortable. Knowing other people have it worse, does not warm cold toes. Nevertheless, all elaboration aside, this quote seems to fit this photo.
I think my two indoor boys are admiring the success neighbor Sugar had in getting to roam around outside. This is not a lonely cat looking at the indoor cats’ success in finding a home.
A happy and successful Monday to all of you!
